I used this product years & years ago when in high school & took a cosmetology class & it was used at the school off campus. I have an oily scalp but have highlighted & bleached my hair since I was 16 so the hair needs moisture to combat the damage. This serum is a miracle! I took a chance & looked for it some 30 years later on Amazon & here it is! It is just the best for untangling wet hair after washing without damage & without leaving hair weighed down & greasy looking! It's a leave-in so you don't have to rinse out & a little pea-sized puddle worked through wet hair is all you need. It is super slick for detangling with a wide-toothed comb but as long as you work it throughout your hair it doesn't dry to a crunchy state or goop up hair that is naturally oily & straight like mine. And when it drys, your hair will feel so soft & look so shiny and amazing without making it prematurely greasy. Oh, and it smells great too!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Smells amazing, but I can't describe it. Ive used biosilk since HS. Probably didn't need this big of a bottle cause a little goes a long way. I like to put it on my hair when it's wet. But I have used it after my hair was dry, mainly after I would straighten my already very straight hair.

This product smells great. It made my hair feel moisturized and look shiny. The bottle says you can put it on your skin as well. I have straightened 3c/4a and I needed a moisturizer that wouldn’t make my hair revert to curly. This seems to be doing a good job so far.I suggest you get the smallest size first to see if you like it. I ordered the 2.26 fl oz (smallest) bottle to see if I liked it and this bottle will still last me at least 6 months!

I love this product. A lot of stores do not carry this anymore and most definitely do not carry the big bottle. Ordering this from Amazon is gonna be my new thing.

The lady who does my hair has used this on me for years...IDK why it took me so long to get my own for at home, but it's an amazing formulation. You /will/ have to learn the proper amount for /your/ hair...and whether your hair will drink it, or not. I've had a couple of days where my hair still looks damp, but that's user error, NOT product error. Was impressed with shipping time and packaging as well. Nicely done!

This is not the real Biosilk serum:- Please check the 1 star reviews, the product description picture doesn't match the one I received at home. It actually says " for body and hair". I have the original Biosilk serum old bottle and it doesn't say that.- Second, it's a terrible product. The real one seals and repairs your hair instantly. This one left my hair feeling greasy and dull.I really want to believe this is a counterfeit, because if you reformulated this amazing formula. You've clearly failed!

I LOVE this stuff. I have been a hair stylist for 35 years and this is the best and smells wonderful as well. Never leaves hairs weighed down it works great on tangles for the little ones

Best for frizzy hair, I have used this product for years. And yes, I have also used WOW, but I don’t always blow dry my hair wet so this works great with a flat iron
