Nice soft case traveler
I was nervous about a soft case bike case, but I know several people who use this one, so I decided to get one. It’s pretty easy to get the bike in; only take off the wheels and pedals. I’ve traveled with it on 3 times now and no problems. It’s easy to move around once it’s packed. The only concern I have is that the rear derailleur is vulnerable. The previous model had a metal cage that went over it but I guess that was discontinued.

Scicon Bike Bag
The bike bag is an awesome way to travel with your bike. Very easy to setup your bike by just taking off the tires and ample room for storage for bike accessories. The bag is light weight and easy to roll through out the airports.

First of many trips with my bike
I was a bit concerned shipping my bike on the plane. Shipping and packing was as easy as ordering the Bike bag. The seat cover did not fit my seat :-(.I was super happy how easy it was to put my bike, wheels and ease of securing my bike in the back. The wheels are one of the best parts of the bag. it rolls in any direction you need it to with such ease.I used pipe wrap on the frame for extra padding.I will be making MANY more trips with my bike on the plane. So much easier than renting a bike and trying to make it fit to me.

Works with glitches
It is simple to pack the bike and to transport it. But one has to deinstall the rear derailleur. Already on my first flight it arrived with a bent hanger and the shifting did not work . In so far the advertisement and the video of S ion is misleading

Great bike travel case
Great travel case. I only take off the wheels. I put extra protection on the rear derailer. Easy to use. I feel it’s a little too short of a rail for my domane bike but works perfectly for my Cervelo . Easy to push through the airport. It is ripping already at a seam on the bottom .

No Assembly Directions
Absolutely no assembly instructions to set-up the bag for the first-time travel and I had to guess how to put the bag together initially (I search the entire internet and did not find anything except "how to pack" videos). I am still trying to figure out if I shipped my bike correctly with the "quick release" connections and the associated adaptors. Nothing fit on the mount so I simply used only the quick release without the adaptors, yet it seemed very unstable. I wish the company provided detailed frame assembly instructions in the box and/or on a website video. Can't believe a product of this nature does not provide instructions in the box!

Not for carbon bikes if you are shipping; might be OK as checked baggage, or for steel etc.
I was unable to get this to work with my aero road bike, as the included skewer system would have pushed the fork legs further apart than I was comfortable with on a carbon bike, and the openings at the bottom of my fork legs were too small for the width of the included spacers, so I returned the bag. Also as this is a soft-sided bag, I would not ship a carbon bike in it via UPS etc. You might be OK with carbon if using this for what I guess is its intended purpose, checking your bike on a flight you are flying on. I would be a lot more comfortable using this for a steel, aluminum, or titanium-framed bike. Also, unless you can find it on deep discount, at 3 to 4 times more than a hard-shell case, it's very expensive for the convenience of not needing to disassemble/reassemble your bike as you would for a hard-shell case. You still need to remove the wheels and take the skewers off them, and place them in the included inside pockets (which would also make me a bit nervous with carbon wheels, as the wheel pockets are up against the outside edge of the bag). The internal strap retaining system seems to work well to rigidify the bag, though I didn't keep the bag so I can't say whether the straps stay tight as the bag is moved etc. Certainly the wheels on the bottom make it convenient to roll around, but be aware that since you don't fully disassemble your bike, the bag is pretty wide and tall when the bike is inside. It's a convenience trade-off for not having to disassemble the bike, but the bag may be too big for some car trunks etc. make sure to check the measurements. Other than that, the bag seems well-made, if pricey for the narrow use-case of sending your bike as checked baggage. I also thank the seller for refunding the cost without issue (assuming the refund goes all the way through) when this would not fit my bike.
