is this price correct 10.98 for pack of 2? you can buy this for 1.98 per pack? and here you want almost 6.00 each-is this really correct.????
How many calories are in each bag/serving?
Anyone know where the grain is actually grown? Says made in US but not sure if that can still mean grown elsewhere, imported and packaged in the US.
Why has the price of this product skyrocketed in price lately? Its more than doubled in price then add the ridiculously high shipping rates.

way to expensive for puffed air

paying $5 for a bag of puffed air is way to expensive. Although I love the product, it does not make sense to be so expensive, with all due respect it is just as expensive in grocery stores but i bought a bulk box of 12 bags of the product and it worked out to a few cents left that the store product

One Ingredient Millet

So happy to find millet in its primary form—uncooked and unsweetened. It’s a great addition to my morning yogurt, fresh fruit, and raw nuts.

Healthy cereal option

I like this a lot. Eating less foods with lectin and thought it would be a good choice. I eat it with unsweetened almond milk with a little maple syrup

Great alternative to baby "puffs"

My husband said these taste like stale rice crispies, but I LOVE them for why I bought them.My son is 6 months old and his doctor said to start him on pick up foods so he can start working on those motor skills. The Go-To food for this are the "puffs" made by all the popular baby food companies, but ALL of them (even the organic heath nut ones) have added sugar. I'm trying to avoid my son having any added sugar until it's unavoidable because I don't want him to be a picky eater.Anyway, long story shot, I found a blog that suggested these, and when I saw that the ONLY ingredient was brown rice, I decided to give them a try. Almost $7 is a ridiculous price to pay for cereal, and if it was for me, I would pass. But to split up into little baggies for my infant, these will definitely stretch far!As for the taste, I think they taste fine, and so does my 6 month old. I've also read that you can coat them in yogurt, nut butter, fruit puree, etc. to give them a bit more flavor. But for right now, my son enjoys attempting to get these little suckers into his mouth (we sprinkle them on his high chair during meal times).

A bit tough...

I used to love puffed Kamut when it was more available in stores, so really missed it. I was happy to find it on Amazon, but the 3 bags were not that fresh, and a bit tough to chew. They used to be larger grains that were delicately crunchy. They did improve when i toasted them in a pan, but I still prefer the larger sized, fresher ones I used to get.

I will not buy Arrowhead Mills Cereal Puffed Wheat again.

I purchased a case of this Arrowhead Mills Cereal (AMC), Puffed Wheat because although I really like puffed wheat, my father really cannot seem to do without it.If you enjoy puffed wheat you will have noticed the general disappearance from stores over the last decade. Food Lion, Kroger, Walmart, loads of local grocery stores (even our co-op) have all removed it from their shelves. I was able to find a great, local grocer that still carried the big bags of puffed wheat but they had other struggles and went out of business. My dad's workday breakfast preferences are puffed wheat, Kellogg's brand Corn Flakes and fast food breakfast anything. In that order. One can only eat so many corn flakes so fast food is increasingly more common for him. Anyhow this all meant I needed to find a reliable online retailer to help his ever increasing nostalgia for something that will not clog his arteries.Enter, AMC Puffed Wheat. First I had to get a replacement shipment for the first one that was "lost in the wilderness." It was just never delivered. No delivery date was ever added to the tracking. Amazon did replace it and 12 days later the 2nd shipment left the warehouse. When the box arrived I brought it to him and my dad, who plays "happiness" in a very chill manner, could not stop smiling. That smile qucikly faded. It was the most stale, unpalatable puffed wheat either of us has ever eaten. Completely disappointing and lacking anything that would be construed as edible.Over time we opened several bags hoping some may have been salvageable. Nope, none so far. In a normal situation these would have been eaten rapidly but alas, he finally gave me the last 2 bags this week and asked me to see if I could find a use for them. I don't think I can feed these to the birds in the park but I'll ask. Otherwise I may try toasting them and adding to homemade snack mix (I hope it doesn't ruin my goodies - maybe we'll just see how the toasting goes first).Yesterday I purchased a case of puffed kamut. I've had it and liked it. Basically, very large pieces of puffed wheat. I hope my father isn't thrown off by the size and gives it a fair shake. I'm sure he will be on high alert after this cereal failure. I would not buy AMC Puffed Wheat again.
