I love these pens. The classic 4-color selection in a pastel, it's hard to dislike this. The price was incredible. The pens write great and all colors show up well on a white paper. The barrel is very glossy so there could be some slippage in some circumstances. I need to order more, they're great to have around the kitchen for writing notes, grocery lists, and reminders to the kids!

Childhood revisited.Somehow these are cooler than all other pens.Whether it be the Bic name, mechanical operation, 2 tone body or 4 primary colors , these pens are King!They write well enough and are pretty durable. They last 4x as long and are good for fidgeting.I tried a cheap $ store version once, the tip tore my paper and it dried out.Get the real thing for $3 delivered.

A long time ago (the 80's), in a school far, far away...If you had one of these pens in school, you were, like, totally rad. The most awesome popular kids would use these gnarly Bics to write and pass folded notes to each other in social studies class, describing how bodacious Kimmie is, and where all of the totally tubular parties were gonna be this weekend. I totally kept one in my Trapper Keeper.This writing utensil (pen) is smooth like Ex-Lax. No duh, it writes solid, and I can color code in 4 wicked colors:• Black, for my tight dudes and dudettes.• Blue, for my homies when I need to score some gas fundage for my Trans Am.• Green, for Lisa and all of her hot chick friends.• Red, for those dweebs, like Steven Glansburg. I got these pens for my Bible study group. The pens have a gel-like ink. Unlike regular gel, they do not bleed through the pages, which is a huge plus for Bible study. The 4 colors are dark (or bright) and easy to read. One thing I noticed as I was taking notes in my notebook: The ink does tend to have those tiny gloppy dots as I write. It's not a big deal, but it is enough to be distracting, so I took off a star. All in all, these are great pens and it is wonderful to have 4 good colors in one barrel.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Who remembers these pens from the good old days? I love the fact that you can quickly switch colors in an instant. I work in an office that requires me to use different colors for different tasks, and these are the perfect fit for me! Great that they come in a 2 pack as well. I have used these every day and the ink is still going strong. Whether for work or art, these can be what you are looking for.

I truly needed this pen to be able to write notes in great detail and different colors. The fast changing of color mechanism has not failed me once the pens don't collide with each other and the ink does not smear at all but it is still very bright.
