These work fine for what they are but they are pretty loud and can startle you if you happen to be in the room with it when they go off. I wish I could do it less frequently than 38 minutes, that's still just too often (and such random intervals anyway). I was hoping I could turn it to "off" for the timer and just use the "boost" button but it does not work on its own! If you have it marked off, the button just does nothing. Which kinda makes sense, but also doesn't. Needs a manual mode.

I'm happy with this sprayer. It fits Glade and Air Wick cans. I could not get the Walmart brand to fit, though. I set it to the longest setting and the refills last a long time. I prefer these to the plug in air fresheners. I tend to not notice the scent on those after a while. The spray every once in a while keeps me assured that there is a scent, even though my nose gets used to it.
