My Cats Approve!
I had this type of box a long time ago, and then switched to a larger deeper box thinking my cats would like it better. They did not use the scratch box at all so I switched back to these, even though some people say it’s not for larger cats than one of my cats is large.Both of the cats like to lay in this. I might have to get another one if they fight for it which I’ve seen them do. They also use it almost every morning like a ritual as a scratch pad. One of the cats doesn’t use it as much so I put some catnip in the scratch box and he goes in there and scratches and then lays down. I like the fact that you could buy refill scratch pads to fill the box as well and it came with two extras. .

If it fits, I sitz. And it DID fit, but just.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It was a little different & was not expensive. Other reviews said it was too small. And I suppose that depends on how your cats use it. My 18 pounder just fits when she lays down. My 15 pounder has a bit more wiggle room. Both cats came from feral parents so are large overall, not just chonky. They seem very happy with it therefore I'm happy with it. If your cat is over 18 pounds, this is not the box for them, however.

My cats say this is a winner!
My cats say that this is a winner! I have rather large cats and they just barely fit in it, but they are larger than average cats. I think for most cats this would be a very good size.

Narrow - Good Scratcher
Our cats are larger in size so it wasn't a good fit for us with the narrower width. Overall was good quality though!

Cats love it
I noticed my cats were scratching at the cardboard boxes I had lying around so I figured I would buy then an actual cardboard scratcher. They love scratching the inserts and sitting in the box which so far looks to be pretty durable. I do have to change out the inserts fairly often but they love it so I figure it's worth it. I like that each box comes with a few replacement inserts.

Big momma Loves it! Cat guaranteed!
Well, guess the picture says it all! Little Chloe instantly claimed it for herself. She's 3, going on 13lbs. I ordered the Large size. My other two smaller cats didn't stand a chance.....so I'm probably going to have to order two more. What us animal lovers do for our babies......sigh.
