This knife scares me (in a good way)
Got this Japanese knife after binge-watching The Bear and realizing our kitchen knives were basically sharpened butter sticks. Gave it to my husband for our 30th anniversary because nothing says "I still love you" like a blade so sharp it could cut tension at a family dinner. This thing doesn’t slice—it glides. I dropped it on a potato and it cut clean through. I sneezed near an onion and it diced itself out of respect. I’m convinced it has a soul.Husband says it’s the best gift I’ve ever gotten him, which is great, but also… suspicious? He’s been looking at everything in the kitchen like it’s a challenge. Bread, cardboard, the cutting board—it all trembles.

Wow! Sweet knife
Given as a gift! He loves it, his wife (my daughter) states it is very sharp and intimidating.

The price is right.
The 8 inch Shun handles very well. Just received it yesterday but have use it to slice vegetables and thinly sliced a piece of meat.
