This has been the best! I don’t ever leave reviews and was actually going to for this product but totally forgot. So here I am almost a year later finally getting around to it. We have used the mess out of this thing! We used to take it out of the truck when we weren’t using it because I was afraid it would get ripped being in the back of truck in the elements 24/7 but that was short lived. We just leave it tied down all the time in the bed and it is still perfect! It is so strong and durable and plenty big enough for our lab. We camp and hike with our dog so it’s so nice to know she is covered from the elements and rain even when she is nasty and I don’t want her in the cab of the truck. The leash that comes with it that is connected to the canopy also helps because we know she is tied up and not going to jump out of the truck if we have to run into a store. Like I said, we take our camper everywhere and have been on every type of road at all different speeds. We live in the south and have gone 75-80 mph for 8 hours stretches through rain and very hot sun and the canopy is still on in tip top shape with no tears. The only thing I wish this canopy had was just a bit thicker pad for our dog to lay on but the one that it has now gets the job done. Like I said, we live in the south and the bed of the truck can get very hot but the pad keeps the heat from coming through to burn our dog. Highly recommend this product. The 13 yr old on the side of the canopy in the picture is the one that put it together when we got it… so super easy to assemble

This has been the perfect option for transporting our 150 pound pup. Easy to place into, and take out of the truck without my husbands help. Fits perfectly into the bed of the truck and straps work great at securing so it's not sliding around. It has already been worth the investment from the handful of times we have used it. The only thing that would make this product better is if it had a mechanism to easily collapse it for easy storage.

We have two fairly large dogs, so we purchased two of these for my Ram 2500. If you are like me and do not like the look of a cap, or maybe can't afford one, then this is the perfect solution. When I examined the parts prior to assembly, I was impressed with the quality of the materials. The grey fabric is very tough and it reflects the sunlight rays away rather than absorb it. (I looked at another truck bed canopy, from a different supplier, and it was black which would absorbs the sunlight and make it hot for the dogs! Hello?! Does this make sense?! Not to mention is was more expensive and not portable like this one.) The mesh is great and not only provides great ventilation (obviously), but also it also semi blocks the sunlight and provides a bit of shade as well. I could tell that they used a quality and durable pad, which is covered by the same tough, sunlight reflecting gray fabric as the roof. It feels like a thick yoga mat inside. I also liked that the tent poles that support the roof can slide out and be replaced if they break. The instructions are very easy to read and follow. It is a great design and very simple to assemble. It took me only 10 minutes! The metal tubing gives it a very strong stucture. I pre-fit them in the truck and I was very satisfied. They cinch down very tightly and were very secure. The next test will be to see if they withstand highway speeds on our 8 hour drive to go camping. Another review stated that they do. This plus knowing how strong and secure they were in the truck, I have no doubt that they will. Having said this, I will be sure to post an update to let you know my own experience. So far this is an amazing product and I would 100% recommend it. I also want to mention that they have excellent customer service. Unfortunately, and by no fault of theirs, the box had a small hole on one of the corners, and the dog leash/teather was missing. I emailed them about it on a Sunday, and first thing Monday morning, they emailed me back to apologize and let me know that they already shipped a replacement. Wow!!! As a side note, this is a very affordable solution to giving your dog(s) NEEDED shade while traveling. DO NOT let your dog(s) suffer in the hot sun! I had no idea this product was out there, but now that I do and now that I own it, I will be spreading the word. Especially if I see a dog panting in the back of a truck without any shade you jerk!

Fit great in our 2013 Ram Slt (6ft bed). Has straps that have a bunch of slack so you have room to adjust left and right and fit in a wider bed if needed. Very sturdy when strapped in with the provided straps. We've had this for a couple years, when we got it some of the poles had been damaged in shipping (not a common problem so don't be turned off!) but we were able to use them regardless and our dog loves it. The lead that comes with it is awesome too and keeps him mobile but gives us the peace of mind that he can't hop out the back (he's got a harness with a hook spot underneath which is perfect that keeps him from getting too tangled).The customer service part comes in just recently when the poles finally got to the point of being unusable (due to the damage from shipping eventually leading to their demise) but we emailed the company and their immidiate reaction when I explained was to ask which ones we needed and for our address so they could send us new ones. Awesome company and whenever I need something for the dog I'll be checking what they have that might work first, definitely going to be repeat customers! Can't recommend enough! Thanks guys!

Delivered March 13th, here we are March 22nd and despite everything being secured the roof blew off completely while driving. Have no clue where it blew off. It's not secure enough and no way to secure the base to the vehicle either. Now, I have half a product and by that I mean just the pad and support bars, no roof!

I put it together, donations were not on point. Started a return but I don’t have time to take it apart and bring it to be dropped off. They shoulda made sure dimensions were listed correctly so now it just sits in my garage. Also the quality is cheap
