Solidly Built, Surprisingly Useful Knife.
First thing; Buy the version that comes with the belt clip attachment, and mini survival kit. The very useful belt clip bolts to the kydex sheath, and comes with some nifty firestarter items.Even after reading the specs online, I was surprised how small this little knife appeared, but quickly fell for it once I started using it. It is thick, sturdy, very sharp and offers a surprising dexterity to your tasks. I used some paracord to wrap the handle after a few weeks of use just to give it a bit of extra grip in my hands. Some people trick this thing out with scales but I don’t see the need, and that adds weight. After 3 months of hard use and neglect some rust and grime appeared but was easily removed with some wd-40 and a cloth. Or just more use. Or some leftover lime wedges from guacamole.. I have completely fallen for this knife, and I keep finding more and more uses for it. At first I was worried about its smaller stature, but is so darn useful. I must say if you get the belt clip; both it and the sheath are tapered, but with a bit of force you can flip the clip and re-secure the four bolts so that when you pull the blade out, you pull against the clip, and the sheath stays on your belt. Why it was made the other way I have no idea, and at for the first 50+ draws its pretty tough to get the knife out, even using your thumb against the sheath. Flip it.I can tell this knife is a win, and I use it almost daily. Enjoy!

I don’t leave home without it.
More has been written and published about this little fish than there are stars in the night sky. Well...almost. Maybe. Be that as it may if you look around just a bit you can find almost any sort of opinion. Mine is very positive. This slides into my front pants pocket and...poof! It just disappears. Well, I can’t tell it’s there unless I go diggin’ for it. This is a specialty kind of blade. It’s a scalpel, a caping Knife. A knife for string, rope, cardboard and such. This one is a very light desert tan and goes really well with the sand colored Micarta scales...which I hereby declare to be mandatory. So the knife with the kit was $45 (a steal) and the scales were $15. That’s $60. It’s well worth it. I love the little beauty. Wouldn’t leave home without it. Etc., etc., etc.

Love it! Paracord wrapped it, really straight forward. Been appex scout carrying it with the bladetech teklok. I haven't enjoyed carrying a knife this much in a long time.

Neat little knife
Very small knife, but quality. ESEE knives are almost bulletproof just know it's their smallest knife on the market. The "survival kit", will work in a pinch, but not worth very much.
