Dr. Harvey's Raw Vibrance Grain Free Dehydrated Foundation for Raw Diet Dog Food (6 Pounds)

Great product for a number of reasons. We've used this with 3 different dogs. The first was with a dog that had epilepsy. Switching to this along with human grade ground turkey help to reduce episodes and the amount of meds she was on. Since we camp with our dog, using Harvey's helps to reduce the amount of dog stuff space in our Sprinter and weight. We still include the the ground meat; both take up less room and are easily prepared. And lastly, it's cheaper. Yes, hard to believe, but combining Harvey's with cooked ground meat costs less than kibble. Our dog consumes less because she feels full on smaller portions of the Harvey diet than kibble. The only draw back is the prep time. Yes, it takes more time to prep the food than it takes to open a bag of kibble or packet of specialty dog food. But she's worth it. By the way we have a Great Pyrenees. Using the Harvey diet, she gets 1 cup of Harvey's combined with 0.25 to 0.5 cup of meat. She eats it without any issues and walks away looking and acting satisfied.

I have a 4 pound Biewer Terrier, and I've always cooked his food at home because I didn’t trust commercial kibble. Love Dr Harvey’s Raw Vibrance. It makes raw feeding so much easier and without the worry about not balancing the food properly. This has been in our rotation for several years now and our dogs love it. It’s as simple as adding hot water and your favorite protein. It’s expensive, but one bag goes a long way.

Dr. Harvey's is worth every penny.A BIT OF HISTORY: One year ago, we got the terrible news that our senior shih tzu mix Francis had kidney disease. Our vet immediately switched Francis to a prescription dog food and while he ate the food without complaint, he was miserable. On the prescription food, Francis was constantly hungry and begging for food. He gained considerable weight and developed mobility impairment and painful joints. In addition to Raw Vibrance, we started him on both the Dr. Harvey's Kidney Health Support Supplement and Golden Years Supplement.ABOUT HIS PROGRESS: Flash forward to one year after Francis' initial diagnosis--His kidney labs are stable (some labs even got a bit better!), he has lost considerable weight and his mobility has improved significantly. While he's still a senior dog, he's the most vibrant good boy we've seen in a while. We are in love with Dr. Harvey's products and the company. We even get him the Dr. Harvey's dehydrated sweet potato treats as a healthy rawhide alternative and he likes it.ABOUT THE FOOD: The dehydrated mix looks quite healthy. We've noticed some batches tend to have more larger pieces, while others tend to have more fine "dust." We feed our now 19-pound boy 1.5 scoops of the mix per meal plus the protein, supplements, and fish oil. It takes a while to rehydrate, so I make two meals worth of mix at night, so that it's ready for him the next day. Once a week, I also make 1.5 ounce meatballs and boil the eggs that he'll eat throughout the week. It really helps to speed up daily meal prep. The only downside of Dr. Harvey's is that it is so messy. Since it's a wet base, he gets food all over his face, his floppy ears, the floor, etc. You can see the stain in one of his photos. :D And, of course, the base mix and supplements get expensive. This is a great product. I love the quality of the ingredients. My dogs love this food. I use it as a topper to incorporate more fresh food into my dog's diet. The product is pricey but worth it due to the quality of the product.

My dog absolutely loves his Raw Vibrance! It’s easy to prepare and from my dog’s reaction it must be extremely tasty. Yes I’ll admit it he’s an extremely picky eater.
