Mercedes Benz OE Trickle Charger

Great product but, according to MB, it is not to be used with AMG or MB cigarette lighter plugs. Not only it will not charge the battery, but it will also likely damage electronics, particularly in AMG and high-performance models. The plugs for these chargers look and fit identically, they are not wired nor designed the same. Checking owner's manual or MB for compatible vehicles is highly recommended to prevent damage and for proper use. An outlet for these may be added after market on some AMG or MB models, but I was unable to find a certified MB dealer in Southern Cali who would perform the work. MB confirmed 2020 C63S are not equipped with an outlet for this charger.

We kept this on our Mercedes with lithium battery for 3 months, car started right up and all systems go.

This product doesn't work with the cigarette charger...my 2018 gls model mercedes benz isn't wired for 12v/cigarette lighter option...it must be hard wired and since the battery is under my seat it leaves a very short tail to connect the trickler..I wanted to leave it outside the vehicle but the lack of length on the trickler connection doesn't allow it and there is no extension cable to allow this to occur..not what I expected or wanted...crappy design on both car and trickler ..

Ive had this product for some time now and it work great.

Took ownership of a AMG C43 ragtop and needed a charger as the vehicle will set all winter. Found this on Amazon, it's the real deal and a lot less than what my dealer wanted for one!

Used it to trickle charge under used auto. Had the auto for 20 years and didn't know there was a receptacle inside the back of the auto. Merz ML. It is so simple for a person who is unused to using it, not lifting of a heavy hood and no worry of getting shocked!

It works and really keeps the car battery charged all winter and keeps the car charge and ready to drive!
