Makita 197898-5 Reusable Dust Bag

I was using the disposable bags but they seemed to fill up so quickly! I was wasting money! I much prefer the reusable bag, where the dust can be simply dumped out into the trash and you’re good to go!

This little filter is definitely the right way to go! The downside is that it’s too restrictive. It needs to be a lower thread count so air flows through better.

this should come with the machine imstaed of paper bag. i will be saving money with this.

Being reusable is a plus but little dirt they really plug up fast.. bags are by far way way way better for long time high Suction. These are good for saw dust but not super fine dust or saw dust

A hopeless idea, fine dust sticks to the sides of the bag, the remaining dust and larger particles lie at the bottom of the bag. The bottom of the bag adheres to the filter, which effectively blocks the air flow and thus the efficiency of the vacuum cleaner. In addition, the material from which the bag is made has too large pores through which fine dust can penetrate. Which very quickly pollutes the filter and thus blocks the air flow.
