It's a nice enough kimono. I just think it's a little overpriced as the material is extremely thin. I bought it to throw on when I have to get the door for deliveries etc. Not sure I'd trust it as I'd possibly get arrested.

Good quality and pretty design. You probably wouldn’t want to be over a size 12 though to fit comfortably in it. Going to use it as a beach coverup

The L was too small for me at 16. I am returning as no comfort when too tight.

Unfortunately I'm quite tall, so most clothing on amazon fits me tentatively. This product was a nice surprise as it indeed fits me well enough (6"4') and is precisely what is advertised, minus the usual keywords filled throughout the name which only confuses people as to what it is, but the product information clears that up so that's fine. I use it in place of heavier pyjamas after a shower and when getting out of bed. Other than the fact it is traditional Japanese clothing, I'm unsure on the exact purpose of this in a home (whether it's meant for eating with, praying, anything else really), so I can't comment on that... but it feels nice! Just not for long times - if you're a fella, watch out for some very minor chafing you know where.

This is a really good quality item. The quality of the cotton is good and the picture doesn't do the item justice. In real life the pattern looks three dimensional. It has a very masculine look when worn. The robe fastens with an internal and external tie, so there's no risk of any accidental exposure. I bought the large to fit the size of my son's shoulders, but the ties allow quite a bit of margin for error so you can tighten or loosen as needed. The robe comes to the knee on a 6 foot male. The sleeves come just below the elbow and are cut so they are not tightly fitted - there is plenty of room under the arms so there's nothing to restrict movement or make you hot. It is great as a substitute for a dressing gown but in my opinion really comes into its own as leisure wear in hot weather. The UK is stiflingly hot currently, and this is a cool garment to wear. There is plenty of airflow around the body and it is easily laundered. For men dying in the heat this is a cool alternative to shorts and a tee. The only risk is that the man in your life starts doing his ninja impressions while wearing this or pretending he just fell out of a Japanese Samurai movie. But you can put up with this if it means he's no longer dying from the heat. The colour is spot on. The price is unbelievably good. You will start imagining you need three or four of these so you can launder them so he can wear a fresh one every day in the heat. Very quick delivery from this seller and one of the best things I've bought in a good while. In answer to the question could men ever wear dresses, then hell yes if they look like this. For the money, why would you not buy one?

This is not a patch on the ones I used to bring back from Japan but a lot cheaper than paying to go get another !
