Hansvit Albany Corner Basin, White

It was difficult to find a compact corner basin which would fit into a very tight space and this one did just that. A lovely looking basin which seems to have far more bowl capacity than our last one. The fixing screws supplied with it however, did not do the job so that was an additional expence.

We got this hoping to free up some much needed space in our down stairs cloakroom and it has done just that. Its very sturdy the plumber had problems fitting it as the walls were not square, but in the end - and with a lot of filler - he got it up. Our last basin was much smaller than this one and we used to get water all over the floor when we washed our hands, this one is much bigger and deeper but takes up less room because it is in the corner, I would recommend this, just check your corners first.

This is a quality product and absolutely perfect for a small space.

Hmmm quite disappointed with the sink. When fitting to the wall it wasn't square, so it required the plasterboard to be hollowed out considerably - making one hell of a mess.In addition the plug, overflow and tap outlets aren't inline, so the hole thing looks wonky. It'll look okay when I've finished but its required a lot of extra time and effort. If I'd noticed before fitting it I would have definitely sent it back. Too late now, but there's more to life.

They provide 2 threaded bolts and nuts but as it is a corner fitting you cannot use both, I used a hex head bolt in one position, as some had stated for this and other basins that the anchor holes were close and in thin china I fitted angle brackets to the wall for extra support. As with all castings they cannot be perfect so best bedded into a sealant. I liked the fact that it has an overflow outlet.

Good value for money

I would not recommend this sink, not deep enough, a lot of splashes, the water is dripping on the floor from left and right side - pay attention!I am going to change it
