completely blocks out the sun, and does wonders for heat reduction, if that's a problem with your windows. I wish I had known about this product when I used to work night shift :/. These do not stick to windows that well, and rarely hold their own weight, however a little bit of clear tape fixed that with no problems.

Works great for the babies room. Love that it just clings to the window without leaving any sticky mess behind! easy to remove and replace when needed, or switch to another room. highly reccomend

I work graveyard and this product works better than black our curtains. The product uses static electricity to adhere to the window. I had these up for years.

Do not buy this product - Magic Blackout Blind. I wish I could return this product but "my window" to return has ended. The only temp black out shade that works is the Redi Shade. I could see that this product, the Magic Blackout Blind, might work for a very very small window without window mullions but even then it would likely NOT stay up through the night. Total waste of money. After many failed attempts I purchased the Redi Black out Shade and it worked beautifully. Redi Shade is an A+ product and this Magic Blackout Blind is a TOTAL RIP OFF! How the Magic Blackout Blind made it from development and into production is BEYOND ME! DO NOT BUY TOTAL GARBAGE!

You MUST read the directions and you MUST follow the directions. You can not keep this on your windows 24/7. You have to take them down before the high noon sun/heat hits your windows. My windows cracked. I knew there was a chance, but because I am a tired, working mom, I was lazy about it. Now what I thought would be a cheap alternative to darkening my son's room has turned into a $600 job - between window repair and finally opting to purchase the blackout cellular shades. BUT when this are on your windows, the room will be super duper dark. Highly recommended if you have other short term needs to darken a room. If you're a tired parent who needs your kids to sleep during daylight hours but they want darkness, think twice about getting this. Buy the Home Decorators blackout blinds. They are not ugly at all. Bought mine at Home Depot for $120 and it was worth it. I would've given this zero stars due to my mishap, but I give it 3 b/c it does work for short term purposes. The directions say this. I can complain that they need to put it in big letters, but really, I was too tired and desperate to heed the instructions.
