Rick Steves Pocket Athens Paperback – May 7, 2024

Very good book. Had tours mapped out to places I wanted to see.Covered Athens and surroundings very well.

This is a really really in-depth guidebook with really good maps and extremely good instructions on touring and walking and really, very surprised at how well written and just very specific everything is to the point of he describes turning around and looking at things and very, very helpful truly one of the best guide books I’ve ever bought

This book is small but is packed with a lot of information. We used it every day while on vacation.

This was a great pocket guide. It was small enough to take with us to Athens. I loved the pull out map and it also had the metro and bus stop locations. I would recommend.

I always like the content of Rick Steves' books and I thought this pocket guide to Athens would be easier to carry around with me than the entire Rick Steves' Greece Book.I checked the Rick Steves' Greece book out from the library and I was disappointed that this Pocket Guide to Athens has noticeably less information in it than the Athens chapter in his Greece book. So now I may end up having to carry around a whole Greece book on some days instead of this book, anyway.

Rick Steves is the OG travel expert. This guide is packed with info and will be super helpful w planning our Greek adventure!

Great info for the sites you have to see in Athens. I particularly liked his free audio tours, related to the book, that you can download and use as you walk the sites. Very nice!

Rick Steves books are the best always full of practical and informative information to assist with your travels. Taking a Viking Mediterranean cruise in the fall. Will bring this small book along with me.
