I got the colorful plants for my daughter’s fish tank, the fish loves the plants he even changed color he was white and now his pink I think because his happy. The colors are realistic and great quality.

Each plant is vibrant and sized as advertised. My shrimp seem to enjoy walking on them and my snails keep them algae free.

These smell absolutely horrendous no matter how many times I washed them but my Sea Monkeys, bacteria and rotifers don't seem to mind, some fish might be sensitive to this though because every time I lift the lid on my tank I can still smell these even through the water.When these arrived I soaked them in warm water overnight as many reviews suggested and when that didn't work I soaked them in a light vinegar and water solution overnight and still smelled just as plasticky as ever so I did another round of vinegar water with a few drops of Dawn dish soap overnight and still nothing so I resigned myself to knowing that they will always smell awful, rinsed them thoroughly and set up my tank.One really good thing is that the algae I put in the tank for my Sea Monkeys has attached itself and is growing and spreading slowly over these so they are not too smooth to be of use there and now my tank looks more alive with real algae growing on these. These plants are really a fantastic variety of colors if you can get past the smell and you'll need to if you're nose is as sensitive as mine because as I said you can smell it through the water.

Ordered for a science project and these were exactly what we needed.

Perfect for my child’s diorama for school

I got these at the start of my aquarium journey and only kept them in for a little while before switching to silk plants or live plants. Some of the shorter ones were cute for the front corners but none of them could be mistaken for real at any point from any angle. Definitely don't get these if you have a Betta fish or long fin fish at all.
