The flap fits exactly into the old housing, and so far works fine. How long it holds up to the brutal Arizona sun remains to be seen, but otherwise it appears well made.

The media could not be loaded.  Overall a very good buy! I wish I had unscrewed the old one before ordering as I would have then known that one of the 4 screws had a broken off shaft where it tightens down. Thankfully it is one of the two middle ones so it still works. As stated, it is just a smidge long, so when it is closed it hangs a tad wavy. It is also just barely too narrow, leaving a sliver to one side or the other, as i try to adjust it to where it can meet both sides. I wish it came a little oversized, and so that it could be somehow fit to perfection. I am hoping it will shrink a bit with time and come straight. The material is lighter weight than the original Ideal flap but certainly heavy enough that it functions correctly. I would buy again

Although measurements were exact, the replacement flap was about a 16th inch shorter when I got it, causing wind to blow the flap open consistently.

Size is identical to the one I needed to replace. It is easy to install IF you read the directions!The only downside is that the material is not slick, so the dog hair tends to stick to the flap. Not a big deal for me but might be for someone else. It is also not clear, it is more opaque. Again, not an issue for me but could be for others. I will purchase another when this one wears out. Highly recommend.

This was very easy to install, but for some reason the plastic around where the screw hole is, is so flimsy and the screw just kept coming through the hole. My dogs went through it once and it came off where it was screwed on. I made some “washers” to use between the screw and plastic but that did not even help. Also, it is not clear plastic nor see through. You can see in the picture how “foggy” it is compared to the window above it.I would recommend spending the extra $12 and getting the one from HomeDepot.
