The Running Man: Flying High for the Glory of God

I am about a third of the way through this book. There are lots of lessons to be learned from Orville Rogers. He was a very faithful person and his faith never failed him. I had the good fortune to meet him about two weeks before he passed.

Bought as a gift for my father in law who served at the end of WW11 and he enjoyed the book very much. Great man with a wonderful and interesting life.

Orville Rogers is a genuine inspiration. His life adventures are riveting and encouraging; a true guy's guy in all ways. If more men were to live like Orville does, this world would be a far better place! Thank you God for giving us Orville Rogers; and thank you Orville Rogers for giving us a look in to your life through The Running Man.

Bought this on recommendation from a friend. Very interesting man. I was intrigued because I started focusing on health and fitness at a similar point in my life. I did not take up running but it is encouraging to see someone keeping physically fit and active well into the senior years. It is also very interesting to read about his lifelong service to the Lord and His very specific protection over him through the years.

What an interesting man! Great, quick read. Was pretty religious which took getting used to. But I enjoyed every last page!

I bought this book for my 97 year old dad after watching Orville's interview on Fox & Friends. I bought 2 copies, 1 for dad and 1 for my husband. Dad read it in less than 3 hours, couldn't put it down, he was very encouraged by Orville's energy and determination. Husband is reading it now and is enjoying it very much.

A fascinating,real life story that is continuing. Every runner or would be runner can relate to his story. And so very nice to have a clean book without the crutch of filthy language.

Orville Rogers is the real thing. I am 78 going on 199 and want to emulate Orville. He is the real deal.Recommend reading this book for anyone interested in real heroes.
