Ok for the price this thing looks exactly like what I was wanting. I'm pretty sure I want to glue it on my body so it never has to come off.It took me awhile to order it though because of everyone going back and forth on how to get a size that fits. Now that I am a proud expert kimono owner allow me to be your liaison through this troubling time.I weigh 180 pounds and 6'1, men tend to think they're taller than they actually are because when I say this guys freak out and say I must be 6'4 because they think they're 6' no you're all just short it's ok. I have slender hips but a very mild pudge on me, pretty much unnoticeable in a shirt. My waist is a 32 in skinny jeans and medium shirts fit me formingly as they should. I ordered the XXL, which would be a large in America. It comes down an inch past my knees, which is perfect. The shoulder seams line up right at the edge of my shoulder as they should. The sleeves are faintly to short, stopping towards the top of my wrist, but not really to noticable enough to care about.Most importantly the freaking strap isn't to short or high! I read so many reviews that said great besides the tiny strap. You have to understand that the rest of the world isn't a bunch of fatty patties like Americans are, you're just fat. I can easily wrap this thing around my waist, the only issue is it's so damn silky sexy that it comes untied easy once you start to karate stuff. As for the strap being high up, yeah it sorta is compared to robes you're use to but this is meant to be traditional Japanese garb, that's just wear it's meant to sit.So my recommendation is if you're lean and under 5'11 order one size up or it maybe baggy. If you're average or even have a beer gut order two sizes up. Over 6'1 and not a fatty mc fat fat I be worried about a 3x because though the sleeves will sit better it maybe baggy around the torso.

I'm 5ft 10in 160lbs and ordered the xxl which fits good. The material is thin light weight and cool. I would rate this a 5 star if not for the belt. The robe has no belt loops so the belt is loose. There's a small string looking thing about 8 inches long on both the inside and outside waist high. I made a small loop in the outside one and ran the belt through it then pulled the belt around my body and tied it to the small thing it is looped to. It works but not as good if the robe had loops sew in. It has bright pretty colors. I would recommend it and the vendor. It arrived on time in a sealed envelop but use reasonable care if you open it with a knife as it could result in the robe being cut.

Pros: The robe looks nice and the pockets are nicely sized. It came via USPS in a plain white plastic bag, which was nicely taken care of. It's thin material and light weight are perfect for a warm climate or summer time.Cons: I ordered the XXL, the biggest offered. I have a 36" waist so I figured that would work. The robe fits fine but the closure string or tie or whatever it's called, is barely long enough to tie. On top of that its made of satin so it won't stay tight and closed like it should. If the tie was longer, it would probably work with a simple bow knot. There are the other strings inside to keep it closed but they're reversed or made for a female. The material is not the same inside as it is outside. It's not smooth, shiny or printed, in other words, the fabric is one sided.All in all, an OK purchase. Maybe I can sew a longer tie but I could easily get a robe similar or better from the local department store at the right time of year.

Just kidding. I haven't touched a woman in years.All in all, it's a good robe. No, it's not super thick, quality material. But it works. And let's be honest, I bought this to be comfortable and to look ridiculous. And I do. And when people see me wear it, they laugh. That was the point. I almost returned this robe when I bought it, but ended up keeping it because it did grow on me.

So this robe gave me pneumonia. Not kidding. Just look at the picture.So sexy as all hell and the reviews do not lie, it’s a luxury life for sure, just owning this go*damn robe fit for a king.I guess you have to ask yourself though, is the lux life worth almost losing your life?
