The head looks like the one I replaced and fit perfectly. The spray pressure is much more than the original head. At full open in spray setting the head will dance around.

This spray head fits a 1/2 inch thread. 1/2 inch is very common in household kitchen sinks. If unsure, remove the old spray head, take it to a hardware store and ask what size your fitting is. I recommend places like Ace hardware, employees there are usually hired for thier hardware knowledge. No offense to the big hardware outlets, but many people working in those are highly compartmentalized in thier product knowledge. They understand (with varying degrees of skill and experience) in thier particular department.

You absolutely should replace the washer with the filter/washer supplied. Sinks use hot water which can degrade the old washer. Also, having been used, the old washer loses flexibility causing micro leaks, over time micro leaks become plumbing and structural problems. Washers are cheap, plumbers (while quite important) are expensive. The choice is a no Brainerd.

Screw on But I would imagine if you put a fitting on it you could use clamps but then it wouldn’t fit into socket that holds it
