Works well. The plastic is a little stiff but the velcro tape holds the sleeve shut very well. The removable bubble wrap is useful as when it tears (and these always tear eventually) you can easily replace it with normal bubble wrap.Tip: Remove the bubble wrap from inside the sleeve, place on your bottle and then insert into the sleeve. Also, pinch the sleeve at the top so that you are holding onto the bubble wrap when removing the bottle. This will ensure that the bubble wrap remains inside the sleeve and does not crease when the sleeve is being stored..

I am very disappointed to report that only 2 out of 4 of these worked in my checked bag, which made for a very unpleasant experience trying to get to our cruise ship in a hurry. I think the only reason that 2 worked is because 2 of the bottles were a thicker and sturdier glass because it was of the "fizzy" variety.We were carrying the bag in the looong line to get a taxi cab to the port when we noticed a trail of liquid behind us. Sure enough, 2 of the regular bottles of wine were destroyed, their glass completely crushed within the packet, and the contents of the suitcase were soaked. I would have thought that in the worst case, at least it would have kept the wine from leaking. It didn't. Fortunately, I had another bag to transfer the contents of the suitcase to, and I had to throw away the 2 bottle protectors along with their crushed contents. I should have taken a picture. I guess on the bright side: there wasn't broken glass inside of the suitcase.On the way back, we purchased some rum on the ship, so we used the remaining 2 sleeves on them (since we had them), but also put them inside a box, and also wrapped the box very well with soft items. To me, I might as well have done that on the way to Miami without the sleeves, and then we would have had 4 bottles of wine on the cruise instead of only 2.

These bags are legit! They're super thick and the fold-over velcro closure on top of the ziplock feature makes them pretty leakproof. I took off one star because my bottle of liquor was short and fat and it barely fit inside the bag and it was so tight that the bubble wrap scrunched up to the top and wasn't protecting the bottle after I finally got it in. The bubble wrap needs to be fixed to the outer plastic to fix this design flaw. I just stuck it between some clothes for padding though and it was fine. If you're using it for a standard wine bottle, this will be perfect.

Reasonably priced, easy to use, and performs well.

I received two of these from a friend about a year ago and they were fantastic. I wanted to buy more for a trip to wine country next week & the place she bought them was ridiculously expensive. Found them here and they're exactly the same but 75% less $$. These cushion the bottles and double seal. You can use them to ship, but I just throw them in my luggage. Protects the bottles & everything else in your suitcase. I just got two sets & will probably need more for my trip!

I work for a winery so I often bring bottles with me when I travel. The fact that these are reusable was a big selling point for me. My recent trip involved my suitcase being inspected and they opened one protector and didn't bother to reseal the ziplock parts. Just the Velcro was enough to keep the bottle inside which really impressed me. It was a dark rose so I would have been left with some ugly clothes if it didn't perform! Honestly, I was surprised at how well it worked. I will be recommending these to my colleagues for their travels.

These worked fabulously for our trip to Europe this summer. We used them to hold multiple things including olive oil, wine, and lemonchelo. I made sure to pack them among clothes for extra padding, but there were NO ISSUES with anything! I was really pleased with them, and for the price, you cannot go wrong! I would highly recommend these if you are planning a trip anywhere and would like to bring back anything in breakable bottles!

I had purchased some of these to bring back wine from a trip to Italy. I was a bit skeptical and covered the wine bottles with wool socks prior to fitting them in the sleeve. Alternatively, my friend simply fit the bottles in the sleeve and just placed them between clothes in her luggage bag. Not a single bottle was broken and we were very pleased with these sleeves.
