The Vacu Vince system is easy to use and forms a good vacuum in the wine bottle to delay spoilage. It does not require too much "muscle power" to create an effective vacuum. The device clicks when a good vacuum is formed. The included stoppers are easy to insert and effective. You just tilt the stopper a bit to break the vacuum. Pour yourself a glass or two and reseal the bottle. I would not recommend Vacu Vin for long term storage of open bottles, but it is great if you just want a glass every day or two.

I like how effortlessly it reaches the required vacuum level and then signals that I have pumped enough with a couple of clicks. The accompanying stoppers are very effective. Vacuum lasts for months, unlike with other stoppers and vacuums I have owned.

I tend to have a small glass of wine with meals over the course of several days and I was frustrated by the taste change over a period of a week or so before emptying the bottle. I had read about the need to decant the wine into smaller bottles over time, but never got into that. When I saw the VinVac device on Amazon, I decided to try it. It has worked very well over the course of the first few weeks that I used it and am happy with the drinkability of my Chianti over the course of a week or so. I consider this item as a good investment.

I’m going to do my best to give an unbiased one year review with this product.Pros:-It keeps our wine fresh-All of our friends always ask “What is that?” And it is always followed with a “Honey, we need to get a set of those.” Then we gift them for birthdays/holidays, because our friends always forget haha.-Easy and fun to useCons:-If you are like us and run out of room in the fridge, and you decide to lay the wine bottle on its side, it may leak. I am assuming it is an error on our part or it may be an issue with the product, but corking the wine and turning it on its side is a no-no.-That’s all I’ve got. We haven’t ran into any issues since we bought them over a year ago. It's absolutely handy, every wine lover should have one. I can hear the clicks so clearly - and I don't think it's because I'm a musician. Anyway, I've kinda noticed the pattern till it clicks, so use this as a guideline: If you open a new bottle, pour one glass and cap it, it takes 3-4 pulls to hear the clicks. If your bottle is nearly empty, 10-11 pulls. Simple as that. (Besides, the pump becomes so heavy that it's nearly impossible to pull when it's done, eve if you miss the clicks!)I also use the vacuum cap for my Aloe Vera juice, which I sip bit by bit everyday, to keep it fresh. Very useful.

Works as advertised and lasts a long time. I had the original of this model for over 10 years before it finally gave out. You can’t ask for better than that.
