BHD Stained Glass Lead Vise, Spring Loaded, Cast Iron, Metallic

I have used it a few times now and no problems. Be sure to give the cam a solid tap with a small mallet once the came is in place under it. This "sets" the teeth of the cam into the lead. The spring along with the camming action holds the lead in place while you pull on the other end with plyers. I just pull until it gives. Don't over-stretch the lead or it will be ruined.

Exactly what I needed to stretch came! Sturdy enough to do the job!!

This stretches your cane. You need your foot to hold the cane in the tool so it does not slip when your stretch it.

Works well

This does not hold harder compound came - it's fine for soft came, but anything sturdier it just keeps slipping out, even with giving it a tap to hold it in place. It has no grip and I've hurt myself trying to stretch came as it keeps pulling out as soon as you start pulling on it. It won't even straighten the came, let alone stretch it and it ruins the edge that is placed in the vice. Just rubbish! Very disappointed.

Fair price, made well, works great! Would buy again.
