Works great

While I liked the compact edition of this vacuum sealer, It no longer has a handy storage space under the base for the power cord. That's okay because now we don't have to raise some of the bags we seal using a book or something of a simialr thickness. There is one thing that did not work as hoped: The wet vacuum setting still sucked a lot of liquid into the collecton tray and then the bags did not seal properly. We never had any serious problems with this before and thought maybe, just maybe this setting would prove to be a good thing--but it wasn't, so unless it's faulty on our unit, it failed to keep all of the liquid in the bag. Nonetheless, our old unit also still works but because the locking tabs snapped off I have to hold it down to ensure a proper vacuum. I hope that doesn't happen with this new model but only time will tell...
