My children are delighted to get these when they are lose or are about to lose a tooth. The pack comes with enough to share some with the school nurse and other teachers.

The tooth does not stay closed. My student lost her tooth because it fell out of the necklace I had to tape it shut. Now I have 100 necklaces that don't even close

My wife is a school nurse and gives these to the student’s to keep their precious treasures safe until they arrive home to show their parents and to put under their pillows for the tooth fairy. The children love them. A bit of tape ensures that the tooth does not open prematurely. I did not comment on “sheerness” because I do not know what this means in relation to this great product.
