Yup, it's worth it.
I wrote a long review and it disappeared. Sorry but no patience to write again. In short, This leash is wonderful. MY 95 Pound Bouvier des Flandres dragged it through the woods, bouncing after her and it survived as if new. That has happened 3 times and it's still ticking just fine! I love this. It is rugged and holds up to antics of the "big dogs." I live on a farm and while she is usually loose, sometimes I just don't want to fiddle around so leash her. One day she spied deer in our field and off she runs leaving me no time to put on the brake. I dropped the leash to avoid injuring a bad shoulder. She came back after "securing the perimeter" and the leash was just fine! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Heavy and pricey but really worth it. Brake works great. Reflecting color. It's really good and worth the cost.

I love This Leash
This is a great Leash so far my favorite so far or the Flexi's . It's great that the tape is reflective for many safety reason, it's sturdy and dries fast as the housing is open. It seemed heavy at 1st but I don't notice any more, lots of length for my Border Collie to be able to sniff and short chase in safe areas. My only complaint is this is my second one in a few months. My dog loves to give short chase to Squirrels so as a result occasionally the tape gets wrapped around trees, branches or corners of the shed or walls, it started fraying where my other flexi tapes did not, they actually lasted at least a year. So wondering if the tape can me a bit tougher? Otherwise I just love this new one so much I bought another, It also doesn't seem like the recoil will out as fast as the older models. Great design! Thanks I hope this tape lasts longer

Outstanding investment.
This leash is outstanding. I've always had Flexi retractables. I've found them to be sturdy and trouble free. I've ordered the large for our labs - 22 feet long with a half inch tape. The Giant is 30 feet long and the tape is three quarters of an inch wide. The tape movement is smooth and the neon yellow tape is an added bonus. This leash is an extremely worthwhile investment. My other flexis are at least 15+ years old so this one will last.

Great while it lasted, 3 months
Purchased 30M Flexi leash in July 2018 for use with 5 month old boxer. Stopped working in early October 2018. Reseller return / replace policy is limited to 30 days. Contacted manufacturer's US headquarters, per warranty instructions, Flexi has a 2 year warranty on their products. I'll update review after I hear back from Flexi.

Rapidly rusting internal spring and external casing screws.
Retrieval spring rusted within two months of use from waters on leash when retrieved; furthermore screws were totally rusted preventing access to repair / clean / replace spring. Manufacturer could easily substitute non-rusting metals of some form to ensure product qualities for raining / snowing weathers. Otherwise, do not buy unless using indoors!

New design and it is 33 feet.
Replacement of our hold one, wore out after 8 years, this is newer model, 33 feet. Our dog loves to stay ahead of us . Yellow is pretty visible night. Loved it and hope last long.

Highly recommended
I love this leash! Very well made and gives my 65 lb boxer a lot of freedom to explore on the golf course during off season.

Snapped!
Bought this lead for my Dalmatian... not exactly the biggest or heaviest dog there is ... 17 months later it had snapped clean across resulting in my dog running loose near busy roads. Like most dog owners I have a selection of leads and have some 10years plus ( used daily to walk a Great Dane!) which are faded but safe. It didn’t cost a quarter of the price of this lead nor seen as little use as this lead. I expected this lead to last the whole of my Dalmatian’s life. Very disappointed.

It's good for an arm workout
I bought this lead after recommendation from several people on a beagle facebook page I'm on. My husband somehow manages to keep breaking our extendable leads- so I bought this one, which seems to have stood it's ground so far! The tape is quite long and so far it hasn't got stuck when trying to retract (which is a problem I usually have with tape leads). My only gripe with this lead is that it is quite big and quite heavy! It's good for an arm workout! At least if I'm attacked while walking the dog at night, I can whack them in the face with this thing and do some damage!

Very strong, and not bulky in use. Ideal for large, strong dogs
I have an 18 month old, 65kg male Bullmastiff, who is bouncy and energetic. I had the smaller flexi for my previous Boxer dog, but this lead is really good. On a few occasions (he's seen a fox at the park), he's taken off and run this to its maximum length with a very hard stop, and on a couple of occasions, dragged it bouncing around the woods, with it whacking off tree trunks. It does not feel unwieldy to use, and the extra weight in the handle is actually quite useful when controlling a big dog! This has survived some serious abuse - hitting pavements, trees and being yanked with 10 stone of dog, held back by me, leaning back and bracing (16st).A benefit I did not expect is that because it is a single strap, rather than cord and strap, you can retract it all the way, and have a very short lead if that is what is needed (as opposed to the line based flexis). This has been very useful.Summary - it works well, and is very tough indeed. Worth the money.

sehr gute Leine
