The worry with gadgets like this in the car is that they are not stable. I drop one star because the cable (and placing of the indicator lights) prevents the kettle from sitting snugly in a standard car cup holder. I would like it to have included a simple bracket such as the type that holds a fire extinguisher. The red and green lights are good and visible and the water does not actually boil. This is a good safety feature.

I bought this to replace my previous slow 24V kettle and am very satisfied. I have it plugged into the 24v Cigar lighter socket in my Volvo truck and it (fully) boils a mugs worth of water in about 4 mins. It’s sturdy, fits in a mug holder (not cup holder) and the lid is leak proof. It auto stops when boiling and the light is clear, red it’s heating, green it’s ready and auto restarts if left plugged in, so make sure to unplug once used. I see quite a few complain it takes a while to boil but this is probably the fastest 24v kettle I’ve had and it fully boils the water so it makes a great cuppa. Just make sure to plug it into a socket that supplies 15A such as the cigar socket or it will be slower to boil and the plug will get hot due to needing to take longer to boil.

Used this kettle for the last six months in my truck, it's a solid build. So far the red warming LED, not working. Green ready LED, not working, bottom is sealed so unable to change. 12V cigar lighter plug plastic crumbled from the resistance heat.Changed the plug and it still warms water and clicks off when hot enough so still in use multiple times a day.

Highly reccomend this product, takes about 15 minutes to boil when full. No issues after 2 months of use

Wouldn’t recommend this item. Bought for travelling and it doesn’t boil water, it does heat somewhat eventually - but even at that takes way too long. Tried it with an adapter (cigarette lighter to 3-pin plug) and plugged it into the main and it just about heated it but not enough to enjoy a cup of tea and again took an age.

Great for travelling in the car. Made cupa soups whist travelling around Europe during the winter. Takes about 20 - 25 mins for full kettle, obviously less time for a cup. Sturdy and well made

Habe mir diese Kanne für eine lange Autoreise gekauft, um mal zwischendurch einen Instant Kaffee oder Instant Nudeln zuzubereiten.Hat funktioniert. Man muss nur viel Geduld mitbringen. Es dauert zwischen 30 und 40 Minuten, bis das Wasser heiß genug ist. Man kann die Außenseite anfassen, sie wird sehr warm. Aber men merkt dann, wenn das Wasser anfängt zu kochen.Alles in allem okay und hat getan, was erwartet wurde. Es gab auch keine Undichtigkeiten und man kann die Kanne gut ausgießen bzw. befüllen.Effektiv lassen sich eher 600ml zum kochen bringen.

Achetée pour être utilisée en voiture. Bon fonctionnement ( chaleur et étanchéité tout à fait convenables) mais ne fonctionne plus après 10 utilisations ! Dommage !!!

la bouteille chauffe très bien, mais le bec verseur fuit, donc il faut absolument la mettre debout et bien la coincer ! c'est dommage elle était bien !
