I bought this to treat my beloved Merrels as they needed some help as had begun to not be as waterproof due to the large amount of rain we’ve all suffered thru spring and early summer. Added a few layers of dubbin and it’s really helped with bringing some new life to the leather. Appears to helping with waterproofing too so very pleased with the product.

It has been a very long time since I last used dubbin, relying on other products that were expensive and did not last. I have found this product easy ro apply with no stickyness whatsoever. Furthermore, it works really well, not only is the waterproofing qualities really good, it also softens the leather. It is well worth trying.

Absorbs well into my leather walking boots, I also use it for my motorcycle riding boots. It leaves a lovely finish and seems to last well and keeps them waterproof. If used regularly it will not only keep your leather looking good and stop cracking but prolong its life much better than other product's I have used in the past. It might seem a strange thing to buy someone, but I have bought this product for friends and also my eldest Son as a gift, simply because they were impressed with the way my boots looked which I have owned for some time now.It works well on shoes of all finishes to bring up an extra special shine quickly without any effort and its quick and easy to apply. Using this to soften leather and waterproof a brand new pair of (made in UK) Doc Martens.Let's see how it goes. Spent many years using dubbin on leather motorcycle boots and gloves and was not disappointed back then (1970s - 1990s)
