Utah National Parks [Map Pack Bundle] (National Geographic Trails Illustrated Map)

Bought these maps for a Utah hiking trip and used them every night to plan the next day's hikes. Detailed enough to provide the guidance and direction we needed. Good quality, heavy paper.

Excellent maps to visit the national parks in Utah

Was very helpful during our recent road trip to the park areas of South Utah. We hiked a lot and the maps were great. A lot easier to grasp the geography of the parks on a map than on your phone and it helps a lot with planning for next day while eating dinner at the campsite. Content about the geology and specificity of the parks is interesting too.High quality map (both paper and content) I did not manage to damage at all during our 10 days.I'd recommend getting another "All of Utah" map for the driving part.

We have bought a few of this brand of maps for different National Parks. It's waterproof which is a must for anyone hiking in the mountains. We have never had issues with accuracy. It is labeled clearly and perfect size to fit in a backpack. My favorite thing about it is that it doesn't seem to show wrinkles.

This would be a good map set to have if you are planning a serious overnight backpacking trip in the back country. But it’s overkill if you’re just day hiking the developed trails, in which case the maps you get from the visitors centers is adequate. We returned these.

The topo lines are brown and in several places are hard to distinguish from the brown shading (i.e., brown on brown) in several places, making the maps hard to read in many non-optimal lighting situations that hikers and backpackers experience. The brown shading appears decorative only.Other that that, great quality paper and everything else. But the brown-on-brown is a fatal flaw for me. I would not buy again.
