Transformed dry bleached frizz into soft blonde locks I can style
I'm in my 60s, have naturally dark hair, now about 50% gray - and dyed blonde. I straighten my hair several times a week, have the hardest well water on the planet, and have spent bundles on hair products. This stuff is fabulous. Thick and clear, no scent, smooths easily through my straw-like hair, wet or dry. Not at all greasy/oily, and moisturizes so well, that my hair is once again soft to the touch. Worth every penny.

Great Product!
I have looked high & low for a good, clear, silk-infused treatment for my hair, that doesn't stink. I have used the Bio-Silk formula, but my local stores haven't had it in-stock lately. I also tried the basic, red-lettered CHI Silk Infusion. I liked the product, but not the smell. I have asthma, so I have to be careful with hair products that are strongly or wrongly scented for me. Certain scents induce breathing issues.A couple of years ago, I used Regis Design Line Silk Drops. It was amazing and had a fresh, clean smell. Sadly, they changed the fragrance, and I could no longer use. A nightmare for me is the modern, heavy-bodied, perfumy scents that are all the rage now. The most popular seem to be infused with a musky, heavy, vanilla odor. I can handle most fresh, floral or fruity smells. That musky, vanilla scent is nauseating to me, not to mention takes my breath away! Vanilla is great for baking, but who wants their hair or perfume to smell like that! For those that are wondering, this CHI Keratin Silk Infusion smells a bit different than their red-capped/red-lettered formula. It has a lighter fragrance with a somewhat citrusy tone. It works great, as long as you don't use too much. It softens & helps detangle, adding a bit of moisture & shine. My hair is color-treated, so I thought this would work better, to help strengthen. The smell doesn't bother me either. I count that as a win/win! Was so happy to find it here on Amazon!

Hair product
Love how this smells, how easy my hair is to comb wet. Literally just smear enough in my palm to see it because a “drop” was to much. Made my hair greasy. If I smear it, rub my hands together then apply it works great! This bottle will last a long time!

MIRACLE IN A BOTTLE
I recently cut my 2c coarse frizzy hair eleven inches. My hair now comes up to my shoulders and looks like a triangle bob when curly. Stupid me thought I could iron it every day. Dumb idea. After a month of ironing/blowdrying my hair every other day (with heat protector), my hair lost ALL its shine and barely holds a straightening. I didn't want to spend $300 on a permanent salon straightening, so I looked into many different options. It came down to an at-home keratin straightening with a full kit or this. I decided to try this, as it didn't seem nearly as harsh as the other one; I was scared an at-home permanent straightening could make my hair fall out. This seemed pretty idiot-proof :)~EXPECTATIONS:Most of the reviews seemed to suggest that this was the miracle in a bottle I was looking for, but I was a little skeptical. It was only sold on Amazon and the Chi website, and I couldn't find reviews anywhere other than Amazon, which was both a little odd to me. No Youtube reviews or beauty blog posts on this product. I expected:1) Softer silkier hair - due to the keratin2) Straightening with flat irons and blowdrys that last longer3) Heavier hair - also due to the keratin :) Keratin builds up on hair and can weigh it down, so I did buy a clarifying shampoo to go with it.~HOW IT WORKED FOR ME:Holy cow! This was AMAZING. It did everything I expected, and more. I put it in freshly washed, mostly dry hair, even though instructions say to use it on damp hair. I also used a LOT, putting on each section of hair as I blew it, and my hair didn't feel heavy at all. As soon as I blew it, I noticed a massive difference. Firstly, it was baby soft! It was like different hair. Second, it made blowing my hair ten times quicker, and my hair didn't get as puffy as it normally did. I didn't even need to iron it, but I did, mainly because I wanted it to last at least 3 days (to minimize heat use). The only 'bad' thing about this is that it smells a little like soap, but its very faint. To people wondering if this protects hair from heat, it doesn't. It's a treatment, not a heat protectant - I used a heat spray after blowing/before ironing. This works great in humidity, terrible in rain (duh). The longest I've gone without washing it out was 5 days, and I only needed to touch up the ends once, but beware of oily hair *-* I use this now twice a week, and it works amazing. If your hair starts to feel greasy after a few uses, it's normal! Keratin is a great protein for hair, but too much can weigh down hair, especially fine hair, so make sure to incorporate a clarifying shampoo into your routine.~PRODUCTS I USE:Shampoo - giovanni tea tree triple treat shampoo (clarifies and removes buildup) // Conditioner - aussie miracles moist 3 minute deep conditioner // Heat Protector - tresemme heat tamer spray // Leave-in Conditioner - garnier fructis curl air dry cream
