Just ordered six more bottles
We have tried many prebiotics, and this one works best for me and my husband. GOS is the healthiest prebiotic. FOS is from fruit, and the sugar can feed bad bacteria in the intestines. My husband said, "Whatever you're giving me, order some more!" So I just placed another order for six more bottles. We have completed two bottles in the recent past. We take Garden of Life Once A Day (for Women for me, for Men for him) twice per week, Saturday and Tuesday mornings, and take the GOS Prebio the other five mornings, upon rising. Eat nothing for at least one hour. I don't write many reviews, but wanted to share our satisfaction with this product.

Not all probiotics are the same
I found out through hard experience that I cannot tolerate butyrate, a by-product of metabolizing the pre-biotic FOS. My chiropractor recommended taking GOS instead. FOS is easy to find, a dime a dozen. GOS not so much.This is the most reasonably-priced GOS I could find and it definitely elevated the effectiveness of my probiotics without the nausea that came with the butyrate.

Love the product but it never arrived this last time

Super helpful for lactose intolerance
If you have lactose intolerance, you should seriously try this. There is an NIH study reporting success with GOS prebiotic improving lactose intolerance conditions, which is why I tried this.Almost immediately after starting this prebiotic, I stopped getting sick. Still using Lactaid and being cautious but I’m really optimistic!!

Do not buy if you have histamine intolerance or MCAS
I have histamine intolerance and these gave me symptoms I usually get when I eat something with histamine.

Great for lactose intolerant folks
I was part of a lactose intolerance study. This was the main ingredient. I had to take antibiotics when I was sick but I took these for 2 months and I’m able to eat dairy without an issue. One thing I had to do was take 2 per day. The study I was in used 7.5mg and this was is 5mg. I overshot but no issues. Highly recommended
